Multilingual Patient Information

Are there simple Patient Information Leaflets easily available for non-English speakers?  Particularly for the high risk (PINCH) drugs: Potassium, Insulin, Narcotics, Chemotherapy and Heparin (and other anticoagulants).

Why the contribution is important

We make efforts to provide suitable information for English speakers, and yet those patients/consumers who don't speak English are often sent away with no advice if an interpreter is not immediately available - just a box and some hand gestures.  Seems inadequate.

Agree wholeheartedly. It is sometimes difficult to find a translator quickly and this has the potential to reduce patient waiting time, ensure the patient has accurate information and reduce the pressure on staff.
