Put the medicines information leaflets on line for service users, carers and the public

Provide some of the more common medications information leaflets in other languages such as the more frequently read foreign languages by people who lack english

Provide some of the more common medications information leaflets in larger font for people who need it or provide a button that will enlarge all font on the page for them as often pc's can't

Ensure it can be printed off as some people can't screen read easily

Ensure it can't be manipulated and changed on the screen please for safety purposes

Use clear language, nothing that can be misunderstood by people with Autism,

Make more use of diagram and picture if you can and find it useful

Make more use of colour to improve understanding and importance

Explore the use of audio information for some common medication information leaflets if they will help deaf people,

Why the contribution is important

Medication is still a major component of mental health treatment

I hope the above list will go some way to -

improve uptake of the use of medication by service users,

increase the understanding of safety with medications

increase the knowledge of medication side effects

empower service users to discuss medication choices with health staff
