British Sign Language for equal access

Having this information accessible online makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately, it will still not be accessible for many people who use British Sign Language (BSL). However, being an online resource means a solution is easily available. Each sheet can be translated into BSL and available as a video clip. This is cheap to do and is simple from a technical viewpoint.
SignHealth works with Deaf people and has come across numerous cases of people taking the wrong quantities of medication and not even understanding what it is for.
Under the Disability Discrimination Act it would be hard to argue against providing the information in BSL.
Why the contribution is important
Because such important information should not only be for people who can read English.
