As the definitive guide to the safe and effective use of a medicine, it is essential that an SPC for every product (branded and generic) is freely available to healthcare professionals.
Also, SPCs often contain detailed information on using a product, which cannot be found in other sources.
See Drug and Therapeutics Bulletin article. "Why look at an SPC" DTB 2009; 47: 56-8.
Why the contribution is important
It relates to safe and effective use of medicines.

It can be very frustrating when you have to contact pharmaceutical companies for SPCs much easier having them available as some are on the www.medicines.org.uk website.

I would be great to find accurate SPC information on a reliable site instead of sometimes difficult and especially time consuming internet searches. This would be a great service!
